Each year, fire stations across the nation respond to millions of calls, from fires to medical incidents to car accidents. The United States depends on thousands of volunteer firefighters to help field these calls.
Sometime in 2025, less than 5 years from now, North Carolina will have completed Phase 2 of the VIPER system (Voice Interoperability Plan for Emergency Responders).
As states open back up for business and people return to work, social distancing will still be recommended, and two-way radios can help make that transition back to work smooth and successful.
